Tours of the Realm offers transfers between the Ports of Dover, Southampton and Harwich and London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted Airports.
We are able to offer a choice of three options:
DIRECT TRANSFER between the Ports of Dover, Southampton and Harwich and London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted Airports for up to 4 passengers with cruise luggage.
 TRANSFER WITH CROSS-COUNTRY TOUR for up to 4 passengers with cruise luggage. These tours normally start with a short distance on the motorway and then take us into lovely countryside, through old and historic villages with picturesque houses, ancient churches and beautiful gardens. Cross-country tours allow the time for lunch (or dinner, depending on your arrival time), rest stops and photo opportunities. However, if there is somewhere in particular you wish to visit en route, then I am happy to be as flexible as possible given the 6-7 hour time frame available to us.
FULL DAY TOURS (or more), followed by transfer to departure airport/cruise terminal for up to 4 passengers with cruise luggage.
Transfer prices start at £195, and will be calculated on exact itinerary.
All the transfer options include:
- Personal "Meet and Greet" service by fully licensed owner/driver who is a fully qualified Member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists
- No-smoking policy
- Parking charges at the airport/cruise terminal
- London Congestion charge, if applicable
- All fuel and parking expenses
- All motor insurance costs
- Blankets for client's comfort during journey
- Chilled soft drinks in the vehicle
The cross-country tour also includes:

- Overnight accommodation, if required
Additional time, if required, may be arranged at £35 per hour, either at the time of booking or on the day. This is subject to availability and applies to the cross-country and direct transfers only.
 LONG DISTANCE TOURING
This is the ideal solution for cruise passengers wishing to take the opportunity to explore rural and historic Britain by adding a few days ashore at the beginning or end of their seafaring vacation. Rates and availability may be obtained on request.
THE VEHICLE
A Chrysler Grand Voyager, which is fully air-conditioned, offers plenty of space and legroom for passengers. It has a luxurious leather interior and great visibility, particularly over our abundant hedgerows, though it is not too large to stop us venturing down pretty lanes and tiny back roads which regular tour buses are unable to negotiate.
BAGGAGE
Please note that due to the excessive size and amount of baggage now being brought by cruise passengers, I regret that I have had to restrict the number of passengers I can safely carry from 6 to a maximum of 4. The number of bags that can be safely accommodated are 4 suitcases, 4 carry on bags plus purses and coats.
Please be aware that if I feel the luggage weight or size is so excessive it risks overloading the vehicle and making it unsafe for travel, I retain the right to refuse to take that which will not fit in comfortably and safely, and the transfer of the same will be at your additional cost.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT
Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis (the courtesy of first refusal being offered in the event that a second enquiry is received) and must be paid for in advance to secure my services. I accept Visa, MasterCard or Switch/Maestro; otherwise payment may be made by either automatic bank transfer or by Sterling cheque drawn on a British bank account.
Once payment has been charged you will receive an email confirming your reservation.
