The primary aim of Tours of the Realm is to offer guests a very relaxed and informal way to discover the wealth of rural, cultural and historical gems that are to be seen throughout Great Britain; and to that end I normally create itineraries based on guests' specific interests, the regions that they would like to visit, when they are available to travel and, of course, their accommodation budget. As a result I do not mix parties, but prefer to offer an exclusive service to individual clients. I would like to stress that I am not an historical guide, but a fully licensed private hire driver with a great enthusiasm for showing visitors round the British countryside, and itineraries give a very general historical, geographical and social overview of the places guests have chosen to visit.
I am sure that I do not have to tell you that this type of touring is both friendly and secure and therefore ideal for those who wish to relax and enjoy the sights at a more leisurely pace, in extra comfort and with a greater degree of personal attention.
I have just purchased a new vehicle a Chrysler Grand Voyager which, if you are unfamiliar with the vehicle, is fully air-conditioned; offers plenty of space and legroom for guests; it has a luxurious leather interior; great visibility, particularly over our lovely hedgerows, but isn't so large that one cannot venture through our pretty lanes and tiny backroads, which normal tour buses are unable to negotiate.
Of course the vehicle has all modern safety features including seatbelts and airbags, additionally I am a member of the Organisation of Professional Chauffeurs and a fully qualified Advanced Driver. I would add, that for your greatest comfort, I would recommend a maximum of 5 passengers, but I am licensed for 6.
