‘We have just finished a very full day of sightseeing in Kent and Sussex. Aside from the cheerful personality and professional treatment, we were very impressed with the attention to our comfort (and to the preferences of our 9 year old twin boys) and the many snippets of botanical and architectural information we received!
Bodiam Castle was the perfect start to a wonderful day. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed their clambering in and out of the various rooms and towers and especially liked the ducks all around the grounds.
We loved the quaintness of Rye, just roaming up and down the cobblestone streets and then our delicious lunch in Tenterden.
Although we were too late to do a tour of Leeds Castle, we enjoyed seeing the rare and endangered animals at Lympne Port. Our drive around the “drool houses” was a visual treat. Thanks so much for everything Denise, You ar a first class act!' Paul, Debbe, Ben and Sam – Chicago, IL
'Denise, you have been a dear! Thank you for sharing a "sampler" of your lovely country and countryside. We have enjoyed meeting you and your wonderful wit and sense of humour have been a delight. 'Til we meet again - God Bless!' Mary - Worthington, OH
‘Neither Dick nor I can believe our week has gone. What a delight it has been. Your careful concern for my difficulties has been a blessing. We both feel that we are leaving Southern England with a much better understanding and appreciation of the area. You are indeed a font of delightful titbits of information. As we drove the byways, every whipstich you were pointing out a new house style or whatever made that particular area special. My favourites were Longleat, the Brighton Pavilion, HMS Victory and the chalk carvings as well as the Bronze Age boat! We shared pelting rain, wind and sunny spells along with lots of humour and good advice. Laundry, evensong and a borrowed loo were part of the fun you helped us have … ' Dick and Nancy - Peoria, AZ
'How many travelers can number amongst their adventures the rounding up of a stray cow, the search for crop circles, picnicking on the Downs, dining at Denno's, to say nothing of search for a cottage already put to paper and a fork in the road already taken. These are lifetime memories that would not be if not for your tireless and generous complicity. Thanks for sharing your friends and family and thanks for making a grumpy of woman's progress infinitely smoother.' Pearl - New Westminster, BC
'Dear Denise, I am challenged to think of a better way to have spent my first visit to her Majesties Kingdom than in your company. Your graciousness is compelling, your resilience admirable and your grasp of local facts a wonderful complement to the beauty of the country. Thank you for an outstanding experience and when next you see the Queen, do give her my best.' Jeffrey - Grand Rapids, MI
'Denise, Thank you very much for carting us around these last four days - We have all had a delightful time. Having spent four days in busy (but beautiful) London it was a treat to be driven around the lush countryside seeing how another group from the country lives and spends their time. A fabulous experience!!' Maria - Grand Rapids, MI
'Another wonderful 2 weeks with you. It was especially fun in Belgium since you stayed with us the whole time. It will be hard to forget when Rob fell in the street and you cut your lip at the Orval Monastery. Plus all the delicious meals we had remember the first night in Belgium when we couldn't get to the restaurant. Al the neat castles, gardens, even the churches and abbey's we enjoyed. And the pubs were great. The whole trip was fantastic. We sure hope we can do it again …' Rob and Brenda - Memphis, TN
'The time we have spent with you has been absolutely delightful. The exciting road travel, beautiful sights and your marvellous companionship have made our time here exciting and rewarding. Thank you very much for everything … you are the BEST of ENGLAND.' Margaret and Gerry - San Antonio, TX
